Mount Ophir or Gunung Ledang as it is known to locals is rich in folklore, the most famous being it the home of the legendary Princess ‘Puteri Gunung Ledang’ once wooed by the Sultan of Malacca.
There are tracks leading to the summit of Gunung Ledang and it is favoured by local mountaineers in search of excitement and adventure. With crystal clear river waters and breathtaking waterfalls, the unspoiled environment beckons the visitor. Various amenities like rest sheds, dressing rooms, camping sites, food stalls and car parks are provided here.
